Supreme Court Hears Major Second Amendment Case

The Supreme Court heard oral arguments Tuesday in a closely watched case testing whether state laws restricting firearm purchases by adults aged 18 to 20 can survive the historical-tradition test set out in NYSRPA v. Bruen.

During nearly two hours of argument, several justices probed the historical record for analogous founding-era restrictions, while others pressed the state on its public-safety rationale.
